I have used this vets for over 25 years and took their health scheme for my puppy. We moved house a couple of weeks ago so asked to stop the scheme , they refused so kept the appointment this week but the traffic was so bad I rang and said we would be 10-15 minutes late to which I was told that the vet probably wouldn’t see me. When we arrived the nurse said she would weigh him but the vet couldn’t see him, it’s funny that many times I have been left waiting for my appointment for 20+ minutes. They were very curt and unaccommodating. I will never go back there - shame….

We’re so glad we found this vet. Our dog had been dealing with some issues for months, and they were the first to really listen and take the time to help. They’ve supported us with everything, are always available on the phone, and explain every step of the treatment clearly.

As a first time dog owner I wanted the absolute best for my new puppy. After reading some reviews of all the local vets, I decided to go with Alcombe Veterinary Surgery in Whitton. Both me and my puppy were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist. We didn't have to wait long before we got to see the vet. She was absolutely fantastic. My puppy didn't even know about the injection he got. She did a quick checkup, discussed deworming and flea medication with me and even trimmed his nails whilst I was there. I took out their pet plan, which means my pup is covered for all the necessary check ups and medication. They were quick to respond to emails and answered any questions I had. Both the receptionist and the vet are a great asset to Alcombe Vets. I'm so glad I found somewhere that my puppy will feel safe and taken care of.

Updating this as it’s been a while. I cannot rate this team highly enough. Looked after me and Claudius like family right up until he died. And when it was time, I was reassured that I was making the right decision and not the selfish one. I have no idea how they do it. I now have 3 other little monkeys that are looked after with care, empathy and expertise. They also appreciate that I get quite anxious when I go in there because of what happened with Claudius and are able to ‘manage me’ as well. Thankfully my 3 monkeys are well (other than the idiots eating raisins). Thank you! From Nikki, Marie Curie, Alan Turing, and Edith Cavell.
