Pawvet Clinic

I recently registered with PawVet and the experience so far has been nothing short of incredible. Last week, a member of the public brought in 3 kittens which had seemingly been abandoned. Rinat, Sana, and the whole PawVet team did a wonderful job taking them in and taking care of them. From the first time I met the PawVet team, it was clear so see how deeply they care about the animals in their care. They stayed behind after hours to continue our conversation about how we could proceed and explained everything about the adoption process. They were extremely thorough, informative, and friendly. They allowed me to meet the kittens, 2 of which seemed to be very close. I immediately fell in love 🥰 The next morning, they were neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and I took them home that night. One of the kittens had an extra surgery to remove a hernia on her tummy, which Pawvet covered free of charge, despite the procedure typically costing over £1k, to ensure they had the best chance at a loving home. Both kittens were in great spirits and have healed perfectly. Despite the unusual situation of adopting directly from the vet, I have really supported throughout the whole process. I was not expecting to be taking home 2 kittens, but Rinat gave me everything I needed; a carrier, blanket, extra food, treats, and a month of free insurance etc. Sana called me the following day to check how they had settled in and make sure everything was okay, which was another simple but thoughtful reminder of their care for the kittens. The third kitten was also adopted the next day. I took the kittens back for their post-op checkup, and received the same great level of care. I could not have asked for a better practice to have taken in the kittens, and I am eternally grateful for everything they have done for me and my kittens in such a short amount of time. A veterinary practice with a lack of compassion, a lack of empathy and an eye on nothing but money. My niece went in for an emergency visit yesterday evening after her young cat had an awful accident. She was so upset and completely stressed but instead of care and a little kindness, was met with coldness and rudeness. After hours work is not a great deal of fun I understand but kindness costs nothing. Large amounts of money were thrown around with regards to treatment options (all rather vague), payment plans/options were dismissed without question (despite being mentioned on their website) and to get any sort of treatment she was told she had to sign away the rights to her pet and IF anything could be done, a charity would possibly take care of it but that she would be unlikely to get her pet back. It would be at the charity’s discretion. She was left with no other choice because she wanted her pet to have the best chance possible and left the practice utterly bereft. She was told that someone would call her the today with an update and with news about whether her pet could have treatment or whether it would be euthanised. No one called, so she phoned them twice and each time was given various different excuses and no firm answers. She ended up going back in person to find out what was going on. She was told that the injury had deteriorated and that the cat would have to be euthanised and at the time, she was not allowed to see her pet to say goodbye. As an animal lover who has been through this situation several times over the years with beloved pets, this is an awful act of cruelty in my opinion. She is heartbroken and emotional obviously but the treatment she has received has made a horrible situation so much worse. The owner of the practise who was dealing with my niece should ashamed of her deeply unprofessional and unkind behaviour and know that sometimes money isn’t the be all and end all. My niece was looking for care for her pet, she wasn’t looking for free care but couldn’t afford to pay thousands of pounds all at once. An option to pay over time would have been so appreciated. My sister and niece returned to the practice again this afternoon to gather further information only to be told that the practice had gone ahead and euthanised her pet much earlier than planned without contacting her or letting her say goodbye. They had stated with me in an earlier phone conversation that the euthanasia would take place much later today (late afternoon/early evening). The cruel, callous way they informed my sister about the early euthanasia beggars belief. They were videoed laughing together after my sister had left the practice. I phoned the practice in anger on my nieces behalf after she had phoned me in tears yet again due their abhorrent behaviour, and gave Ashley (apologies if that’s misspelled) a piece of my mind. I’m not proud that I raised my voice but his lack of apology and dismissive reaction absolutely infuriated me. Why are you in this business if you’re unable to treat people who are hurting and in emotional distress with care? I think that if you’ve lost the ability to care and show a little empathy, then you’re in the wrong profession. I would strongly, strongly advise that anyone in need of animal care thinking of using this practice look elsewhere.

Our cat needed an emergency 4 day stay for gastro issues. Our cat is extremely anxious and I was incredibly worried about leaving her. However, I was immediately reassured. Dr Rinat is a great vet and the whole team took exceptional care of Nutmeg. The team were incredibly thorough in their approach and ensured she recieved the correct tests and care to get to the bottom of the issue. We were also very impressed with how much they prioritised her welfare. Ensuring everything they did would not stress out Nutmeg too much. They kept us updated throughout her stay which also put our minds at rest. I am very grateful for Pawvet for looking after her. I don't believe she would've had the same level of diligence and thoroughness elsewhere! Our cat is home and doing so much better now. Thank you so much to Dr Rinat the whole team for looking after our baby girl.

Very responsive and knowledgeable. I have turned to them on several occasions as a cat sitter and they have been absolutely amazing, supportive and professional!

Our dog Coco got a laparoscopic spay at the clinic a few weeks ago and everything went so smoothly, from booking the procedure to the surgery itself and the post op care. She recovered so quickly, the scarring was minimal, they did such a great job and all this at a reasonable price for such a procedure.The team was amazing. Patient, kind, always ready to answer any questions and very supportive. Coco is now excited to go the vet! The clinic itself has great facilities for all sorts of procedures surgeries and X rays etc. Again, we found the team very caring and professional, from the vets Dr Rinat and Dr Nathan to the other members of staff, absolutely nothing to complain about.

The Pawvet team couldn’t take better care of our whippet Otto - they will drop everything to deal with emergencies, and genuinely love him and what they do - he’s in the best hands! X

My lovely puppy is very happy every time I take her to the vet. The new keyhole technique for the spay operation is excellent and money well spent. I didn’t want my baby to suffer or have a lengthy recovery. She was herself within hours, and even though we were careful and mindful, it really looked like she had never been operated on in the first place.

I brought my cat Bono to this clinic in very serious condition. Now he is feeling much better, gaining weight, and has become much more active. All of this is thanks to the correctly chosen treatment and the attentive care of the staff. We are very happy that we found such a wonderful and competent veterinarian as Rinat and her professional team! Thank you very much for your help, support, and care for our Bono! 🐾💖 Highly recommended!!

Thank you to our wonderful doctor, Rinat! My Scottish Fold has been seeing Dr. Rinat since he was three months old. Every year we come to him for vaccinations, and when Archie had a stomach ache, Dr. Rinat was always there to help us. Dr. Rinat is very caring, attentive, and truly professional. We are sincerely grateful for his dedication and the excellent care he provides!

Amazing place and very helpful people. We brought a cat that we believe that she was lost and they took immediately care to notify the owners and keep the cat in safe place until everything will be sorted out. Thank you for your professionalism and amazing manners and for truly caring for our little animal friends.
