I feel so lucky to have had Arc Vet recommended to me about eight years ago by a doctor friend. Not only is their medicine top-notch and I know my dog is in the best hands, but every single person who works at the practice embraces its friendly, knowledgeable and helpful ethos. Thank you to the whole team for all you have done: to Richard for removing a fractured carnassial (and teaching me a rather resonant phrase) a few years ago, and to Emma for sorting out Tonto's ear this morning which had been causing both him and me a lot of bother. A special thank you also to Holly, who as a nurse takes the combination of compassion and professionalism to a new level

Even though it is 45 mins away by bus, I continue to travel with my cat to Arc vets. The reception staff are kind and helpful both in person and on the phone. The appointments are available at useful times and I have always been fitted in quickly for serious issues. My poor elderly cat has had 2 separate operations at Arc in the last year and I couldn't have asked for more. The staff understand how nervous she is about coming in and always try to find an alternative (eg me sending in photos of her progress after operation, them emailing me advice). I find that Arc vets never try to get more money out of you than you need to part with, always giving you a range of options. This means I trust them to always be suggesting the best course of action for my cat. Highly recommend.

Great service and pet care. Rosie was in and out quickly and she was managed extremely well with very straight forward instructions.

Our dog had her second mastectomy done in this practice and it was so much better than the previous one at a different vet practice and the vets took an extensive amount of time to discuss all possibilities via an email with a high level of detail. Both myself and my husband are scientists, so we had several questions, and these were addressed extensively. Furthermore, the lady who performed the surgery did incredible job and we could see the craftsman of her skills. Our dogs recovery was so much faster than previously and she is still happy to go to the vet. They genuinely care, do not overcharge, and are happy to create an extensive and detailed description of the treatment and the justification. Thank you. Grateful Aida owners ❤️

My two cats have had a bit of an unlucky year with a couple of bouts of gastrointestinal issues and The Arc have fitted them in at top speed every time. The vets are very knowledgeable and give common-sense advice without upselling and the people who take the calls are friendly and supportive. I really appreciate that they’re only a short bus ride away, and it’s great they’re an independent vet. The standard of care is very high and I would recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you all so much.

I’m not the easiest customer to please, as I have a suspicious attitude due to a bad experience with a previous vet. However, I’ve been with Arc for a couple of years and they’ve always provided a decent service for basic procedures. Recently, my big dog, Rocco, had to go in for a dental issue, and Arc handled it perfectly. I was worried about the cost and suspicious of any unnecessary or inflated charges, having had previous negative experiences elsewhere. When I expressed my concerns, one of the surgery vets addressed them, and then Richard, the main vet, called to ask and explain the cost and what he would be doing. They called mid surgery to advise of their finding and provided options of how to proceed. The options were very fair and reasonable with the cost. I am very grateful to them for their time, commitment, and support. I’m writing this review to assist people like me who have had bad experiences and want a vet they can trust.
