Vets in Romford, Greater London
Generated from publicly available data sources; may not fully represent the broader set of reviews.
The Veterinary Treatment Room, located at Coral Romford Stadium in Romford, is well-rated with a 4.3-star average from an impressive 1,300 reviews. This suggests a generally positive reputation among visitors, though it is important to consider some variance in experiences.
The clinic's reviews predominantly focus on the venue's overall atmosphere and the quality of the dining experience at the Paddock Restaurant, a popular on-site restaurant that offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. The feedback highlights the friendly and attentive staff, and the overall enjoyment of events such as dog races, which are a key attraction. Reviewers like Steve Abery and Andrew Barton commend the venue for its lively atmosphere and excellent service during group events and work nights out. However, Katie Howey notes that there can be long queues for betting on busy race days, which could be a slight drawback for some visitors.
While the reviews primarily celebrate the dining and entertainment aspects of the venue, no specific information is available regarding veterinary services or pricing. This may suggest that the primary attraction for guests is the associated leisure activities rather than the veterinary services themselves.
Overall, the Veterinary Treatment Room at Coral Romford Stadium appears to offer a vibrant setting for group outings and events, with an emphasis on good food and entertainment. If you are planning a visit, particularly for the dog races, consider potential parking limitations, as noted by Andrew Barton, and the possibility of busy betting counters on popular race nights.

Did afternoon meal with a group, had a great time with great staff who looked after our group. Only had 1 problem with four people who sat on one of our tables and refused to move. Not the venue or staffs fault, just a group of selfish people who hopefully didn't get any winners.

Had a work night out here at the Paddock restaurant. Was a brilliant night. The staff were attentive the food was really good. Could have 3 courses. Our tables were just above the finish line too. Was helpful with the guy coming round to take our bets. First time going to the dog races and would certainly do it again. Parking is limited but we knew that going.

Love it! Great fun. Great night out. Easy to make bets once you understand how to do it (the pamphlet you get on entry has a brilliant how to!). The only downside is that there aren’t enough people on the desks on busy race days (Friday and Saturday nights) so the queues to place or settle bets could take a long time. You don’t have to bet though and just enjoy the festivities!

We ate in the Paddick Restaurant something for everyone on the menu. The food was wholesome presented well and was very good. All the staff we encountered were very friendly professional and helpful. The racing was fantastic the dogs were looked after by the handlers. All in all a great evening value for money fun great atmosphere. If you haven't been to the dogs before please give it a go you will be pleasantly surprised

One of the few remaining dog tracks in London. They put on regular race nights, good mix of races. The stadium has a great restaurant, good food served over three courses with vegetarian options. I was impressed with the food. Good choice of drinks, a good night out with friends at a large table. Normal stands are here too, plenty of parking and taxis available to get to and from central Romford
