Can’t thank Richard and everyone at Goddards enough for everything they do for us! A few weeks back when one of our cats was ill he managed to see us within half an hour which was such a relief, and even today when we struggled to bring our cat in for her vaccinations yesterday, he got us in last minute. It’s great knowing that we have such a caring team that knows our pets and can see them when we need them to. Thank you!

Been visiting richards with our dog Cali for around seven years now, the service is excellent, a very well organised practice, all staff are very welcoming and friendly, appointments are always on time, Richard is fantastic with Cali, he diagnosed her with ( EPI) exocrine pancreatic insufficiency around three years ago, he was very quick to diagnose and help with her treatment which has most certainly saved her life, we visit regularly for all her check ups and vaccines, he really does care about his patients and always puts us at ease which makes visiting so much smoother, wouldn’t go anywhere where else, thank you Richard and your amazing team for looking after us 😀 🐕

Goddards Gidea Park is a great vet practice- I have been taking our dog and now- our cat to Richard for the past 12 years! Richard in particular make this practice what it is -he has always been kind and attentive, going over and beyond to accommodate our needs. Having continuity of care by the same vet who is also competent and personable is invaluable! I can not recommend Richard enough!

Had an appointment today for my cat's annual checkup and booster. As normal, seen on time. Richard is always very prompt and informative. Unfortunately a lump was immediately identified and options explained to me. Fingers crossed but feel we are in safe hands.

I can’t praise Goddards in Gidea Park high enough. Since getting my kitten the whole team have been so helpful and always so friendly. Appointments are always run on time so I’m never left waiting with my kitten, Richard always explains everything he is doing, or will be doing, so I always know what’s going on and is always happy to take the time to answer any questions I have. What has particularly impressed me is that when my kitten has been ill, the nurses have been really knowledgeable and helpful and within 24 hours I have heard back from them with Richard’s recommended treatment plan. This means I always feel safe and supported knowing that my kitten is getting the best care from Goddards!

We’ve had our dog for over 11 years now, and Richard has been our vet from day one. He’s always been absolutely amazing — knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely caring. No matter what the situation is, Richard takes the time to explain everything clearly and always gives honest, practical advice that puts both us and our dog at ease. He has such a calm and friendly manner, and you can tell he really loves what he does. Our dog actually enjoys going to the vet (which says a lot!). The whole team at the clinic is great, but Richard really stands out for his professionalism and kindness. Couldn’t recommend him more highly — we feel so lucky to have had him looking after our dog all these years!

Goddards Veterinary Practice in Gidea Park is outstanding. Richard (Veterinarian) and his team are exceptional. The care and support shown to my pets and myself is of a high calibre; the health details carefully explained regarding my pets (2 x Cocker Spaniel puppies), by Richard was reassuring, he provided complete peace of mind following their check, and vaccinations. The appointment times are flexible and fit with my working hours, and I have never waited to see Richard. His clinics run to time and he is never too busy to provide advice and reassurance. The practice provides emergency appointments flexible to the needs of full time workers which again is very helpful and reassuring for owners. The Nursing team are delightful, showing full interest as well as being caring and gentle when undertaking pet health checks. This is an outstanding Veterinary Practice who I highly recommend. Outstanding practice. Took my puppies for a 12 week vaccination and health check. Appointment was on time, no significant wait in reception area. Reception staff were welcoming and interested in my puppies. Richard, the vet, was exceptional. Undertook a thorough check, was engaging and kind with them. Gave me a clear explanation of the services he offers for puppies and how to optimise their health during the next six to eight months. He also explained his appointment hours, with evening sessions to facilitate fill time workers and emergency care. Thoroughly recommend the practice.

I can’t recommend Goddards in Gidea Park highly enough. The team are always so kind, compassionate, caring and incredibly gentle with my cats. As a nurse myself, I really appreciate how smoothly this centre is run; it’s clear that it’s a well organised practice. My appointments are always on time and any queries I have are dealt with promptly. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. I see this not only during my interaction with them and also when I am in the waiting room watching how they are with other pets and owners. I feel completely reassured bringing both my cats here, knowing they’re in the best possible hands.

I’ve always had a great experience with Richard as my vet. Appointments run on time, so I’m never left waiting around with my dog, which really helps keep things calm. What stands out most though, is that Richard genuinely puts my dog’s wellbeing first - he never pushes the most expensive or extreme option, he just gives honest, sensible advice that feels truly in my dog’s best interest. With this, I know my dog receives the best care and I trust Richard completely. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
