I wasn't happy with my experience at Anderson's this morning. My appointment was at 9 15, I was about 10 mins late because my dog realised we were put of routine and was a bit anxious so she wouldn't come out the car but when we arrived there had been 2 emergencies so there was going to be a wait. I don't have a problem with this, emergencies should take priority so this didn't bother me. What I didn't appreciate was how other patients were treated regarding the wait. I waited for about an hour and 15 minutes with no updates or communication while other patients were given exactly that. For example, In contrast a woman with a cat who had been waiting was offered another room for her cat as it was getting anxious, a man who arrived after me was given updates twice and the receptionist offered to take pictures to send to the nurse because of his wait despite me waiting longer than him. I eventually decided to take my dogs poop bag out and went to find a bin I told the receptionist she didn't say I would be seen soon or anything she just said that this was ok. I was just under 10 minutes I walked two roads down and back. When I got back a woman with two cats was in the waiting room now and she was let in front of me, we sat together for about 5 minutes before she was seen. I was eventually seen 1 hour 15 minutes later and I'd been waiting the longest in the waiting room by his point. I raised how the woman with the two cats had come after me. A new foundland had arrived after me and had been seen before I went to the bin. It was explained that they had come to find me and I wasn't there so they saw her first but that wasn't true. I was sitting in the waiting room with her when I got back so they didn't see her while I went to the bin. That woman had not been waiting long at all it must have been ten minutes she had come on time and they didn't want to inconvenience her of this little time but they had been happy to leave me sitting there for over an hour with no updates or communication of when I'd been seen. I was not afforded the same courtesy as the other patients who the staff were familiar with. The issue isn't the long wait due to emergencies, the issue was the lack of communication and respect for my time that was given to other patients and no apology when I was seen that I'd waited for over an hour. It seems like they may have forgotten about me. Even if I went to the bin I was under 10 minutes, and if I was going to be seen soon that should have been communicated as I wouldn't have gone, the only reason I went was because I thought I'd be there for another hour. I should have still been seen before the other people who came on time because they hadn't been waiting long at all. They didn't want to inconvenience them but they were happy to do this to me. And I don't know why while I was waiting people were coming after and being seen before me. I'm not sure but the whole situation was really disrespectful.

We recently changed vets to Anderson’s for our cat. The vet (Dr Cheung) we see is very friendly and delightful and treats our cat very well. She explained why she was recommending a different treatment and also gave good advice on the cat’s weight and diet which has worked well. Thank you.

After managing to get my ex-ferral cat into a carrier, the vet was absolutely brilliant - quiet, kind and patient. It was important he didn't become traumatised before his next visit or disappearing when returning home. But all was well thanks to our vet!

We had to bring our 10year old French bulldog in today to have some teeth extracted. I have to say on arrival it was lovely calm practice which definitely helped with an older doggie. We’ve just collected him and the vets here have been so thorough, not only doing a great job on he’s teeth, but they’ve given gone through all he’s blood work and more and we really do feel at ease. On top of this, the bill we received was extremely fair and unlike others I felt was worth every penny. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone in need! Thanks again Anderson Vets!

All the staff at Andersons are polite and friendly. The vet i saw was amazing and took time to explain everything and made a huge fuss of my dog
