We’ve been bringing our dog here for around 18 years, and I honestly can’t thank the team enough for the care they’ve given throughout his life. They have always been kind, professional, and genuinely compassionate. A few years ago, he developed a cancerous lump on his eye, and thanks to their expertise and treatment, he made a full recovery. That meant so much to us and gave us many more happy years with him. Recently, we had to say goodbye to him at 18, and the way the team handled everything was incredibly thoughtful. We were given all the time we needed, never felt rushed, and they made such a difficult moment as peaceful as it could be. Afterwards, they even took the time to call us to check in and make sure we were okay, which meant a lot. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done over the years. Truly an amazing veterinary practice.

The scary looking guy with the moustache is very rude, he talks to you like you are dumb and the way he handled my cat was very unprofessional!!! it was a super rushed checkup - just greedy for money. I’d avoid at all costs

Absolutely the worst vet I have ever had the misfortune to need. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The senior (in all meanings) vet, David King is a condescending, unknowledgeable, unsympathetic, unwilling "doctor". Some time ago he saw my elderly (18 years at the time), chilled Pomeranian who had two teeth left and has never ever been aggressive or bitten in his life (had from 8 weeks) and refused to examine him because he claimed the dog was "aggressive". I know my dog and was in the room, holding him, there was no aggression shown but his manner was not putting my dog at ease (or me) either. He talked down to both myself and my mother, has no bedside manner and has ridiculous notions on what "might" be wrong, thank goodness for the specialists I sought second opinions with. He told me I was at fault, made me feel exceptionally guilt and terrible for months and then when I saw a specialist they explained it was just due to breed and age. I am so glad I switched vet practices because this man needs to retire or find a different job where handling animals and being kind or even just polite aren't prerequisites. Hideous person and unqualified for his role. The younger vet was lovely but hope he finds another practice. Expensive and won't deal with insurance and very unhelpful that side to boot. Expect to be charged for "consultations" where "Dr". King won't even touch your animal. How can that be called an examination? I thought it was just my experience until I saw other reviews. Never ever again. This practice is an example of what vets SHOULDN'T be. Horrible, uncaring man unfit for the job sadly. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Absolutely lovely vet! Really friendly helpful staff. Tooth extraction, one large tooth, all medications including Antibiotics and Anti inflammatory medication , Blood Tests, and worming done for £260.00. Would highly recommend !! Please note due to Covid restrictions only one person allowed in at a time. You may be waiting outside. Wrap up warm, or drive and wait in your car. February 2026 update. Saw a vet at All Pets yesterday, David, absolutely wonderful service. We took bloods yesterday and I had a call first thing Saturday with results, I am so impressed with this vet. They are consistently good !

One star is giving this practice way more than they deserve. Vet (apart from Rude) has either no knowledge plus outdated or the only thing he cares about is money… The amount of unprofessional and ridiculous diagnosis and tips coming out of his mouth should be checked by the veterinary college, as he should not be allowed to deal with our animals lives and health. Just stay away!

I have had two very different experiences here. The first was with a lovely young man - Anderson - who treated my cat with genuine care and made my stressed cat (and myself!) feel at ease with his calming and joyful manner. This review does not reflect the service I received from him. My second was with the other vet David who I am shocked is licensed to treat animals or be in a public facing job. I was appalled by his rudeness and the manner in which he handled my poor cat was atrocious. He is clearly unpleasant as I observed an interaction with him and another member of staff where he was rude and belittled her. Others have told me about his money orientated approach - rather than the care of the animals. I should have listened and now my cat is once again very scared of traveling in fear she is to return to see that evil man. I will not be returning here and highly urge others to avoid at all costs. I hope that Anderson and the rest of the team manage to evade his cruelty.

Ive had it with this vet practice- from charging £300 for dogs tooth extraction , unnecessary tests and treatments for imaginary UTI also hundreds and now they wont sell Avantix treatment for 2 of my 3 cats without a consultation , to tell me they have fleas, which I know , thats why i want the treatment . £120 for nothing . I deeply resent this .

Anderson is a very kind and compassionate veterinarian. When we had to put our dog down he was very sympathetic to our situation and even sent us a card to let us know that we are not alone in our mourning. I’m so glad my dog managed to get treated with the upmost respect that she deserved.
