Do not use this Vets for ANYTHING other than flea/worm prescriptions that you can use to buy online for 50% less the mark up.
David is a brilliant honest experienced and professional vet . Staff is friendly. I have been going there with my cats for a few years now
Very disappointing experience. I believe other pet owners should be aware of what happened.
Being pressured to make a financial decision within minutes about my dog’s treatment, while he was under anaesthesia, was extremely unprofessional. The cost increased significantly from the original estimate, and I was pushed to approve the extra expense immediately without being given proper time to consider the options.
In the end, I spent almost £500 and my dog did not receive a proper examination or a clear diagnosis, which was extremely disappointing. The whole process left me feeling that the priority was the payment rather than the care of my pet.
If I had read the previous reviews beforehand, this place would never have been my choice.
I cannot thank the team at All Pets enough for the incredible care they provided to my senior Chihuahua during their recent dental surgery. Taking a senior pup in for anesthesia and tooth extractions is always nerve-wracking, but they made the entire experience so much easier.
A special thank you to David the vet, whose professionalism and expertise gave me absolute peace of mind. He calculated everything perfectly for my little one's size and explained the aftercare so clearly.
And a huge thank you to Hannah at the reception desk, who looked after us with so much love, patience, and genuine care from the moment we walked in.

Very disappointed with my experience. I brought my injured bird in with my children, who were extremely upset and concerned. Instead of showing urgency or compassion for the animal's condition, the discussion focused on the charges before the bird was even properly assessed.
The consultation took only a few seconds, and I was charged £71.98. I understand that veterinary services have costs, but I expected more care, empathy, and attention to my bird's injury. Sadly, I left feeling that neither my pet nor my family's concerns were taken seriously. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience. If there is 0 star I recommend that .
We’ve been bringing our dog here for around 18 years, and I honestly can’t thank the team enough for the care they’ve given throughout his life. They have always been kind, professional, and genuinely compassionate.
A few years ago, he developed a cancerous lump on his eye, and thanks to their expertise and treatment, he made a full recovery. That meant so much to us and gave us many more happy years with him.
Recently, we had to say goodbye to him at 18, and the way the team handled everything was incredibly thoughtful. We were given all the time we needed, never felt rushed, and they made such a difficult moment as peaceful as it could be. Afterwards, they even took the time to call us to check in and make sure we were okay, which meant a lot.
We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done over the years. Truly an amazing veterinary practice.
The scary looking guy with the moustache is very rude, he talks to you like you are dumb and the way he handled my cat was very unprofessional!!! it was a super rushed checkup - just greedy for money. I’d avoid at all costs
Absolutely the worst vet I have ever had the misfortune to need. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The senior (in all meanings) vet, David King is a condescending, unknowledgeable, unsympathetic, unwilling "doctor". Some time ago he saw my elderly (18 years at the time), chilled Pomeranian who had two teeth left and has never ever been aggressive or bitten in his life (had from 8 weeks) and refused to examine him because he claimed the dog was "aggressive". I know my dog and was in the room, holding him, there was no aggression shown but his manner was not putting my dog at ease (or me) either.
He talked down to both myself and my mother, has no bedside manner and has ridiculous notions on what "might" be wrong, thank goodness for the specialists I sought second opinions with. He told me I was at fault, made me feel exceptionally guilt and terrible for months and then when I saw a specialist they explained it was just due to breed and age. I am so glad I switched vet practices because this man needs to retire or find a different job where handling animals and being kind or even just polite aren't prerequisites. Hideous person and unqualified for his role.
The younger vet was lovely but hope he finds another practice. Expensive and won't deal with insurance and very unhelpful that side to boot. Expect to be charged for "consultations" where "Dr". King won't even touch your animal. How can that be called an examination? I thought it was just my experience until I saw other reviews. Never ever again. This practice is an example of what vets SHOULDN'T be. Horrible, uncaring man unfit for the job sadly. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Saw a vet at All Pets yesterday, David, absolutely wonderful service. We took bloods yesterday and I had a call first thing Saturday with results, I am so impressed with this vet. They are consistently good !
One star is giving this practice way more than they deserve.
Vet (apart from Rude) has either no knowledge plus outdated or the only thing he cares about is money…
The amount of unprofessional and ridiculous diagnosis and tips coming out of his mouth should be checked by the veterinary college, as he should not be allowed to deal with our animals lives and health.
Just stay away!
