I have been going to the Blackheath practice since my 11 year old rescues were kittens. They are always treated kindly and if they need treatment, options are discussed clearly, with the pet’s welfare and best solution at the forefront. Thoroughly recommend.

We have been using vet practice ever since we got our dog charlie from battersea dogs home They are fantastic and always so helpful Kirsten especially is great She managed to calm charlie down every time and being vip members we get 2 x free health checks and nail clips per year

The clinic is clean and welcoming, the staff are attentive, and a real bonus is the free car park, which makes visiting with pets so much easier. I chose this clinic based on its positive reviews and recommendations from others, but my experience has been disappointing. I took my dog there twice, and during the first visit, the vet overlooked several important checks, such as examining their ears, paws, heartbeats, and eyes. On my second visit, I had to remind a different vet to check my dogs' ears as well. We decided that my dog needed surgery, and I requested dental work to avoid putting him under anesthesia twice. However, I was charged for anesthesia twice and had to ask the vet to correct it, which she acknowledged as a mistake. On the day of the surgery, I faced a 40-minute wait due to an emergency, which was concerning since my dog is older and gets anxious at the vet. It's frustrating that they couldn't accommodate my dog because of a shortage of available vets. They should have a plan of how to take dogs waiting foe surgery quickly so the dog gets minimal stress. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service I've received.

We were seen very promptly but I’ll be asking for a breakdown of costs before paying, in future. Very expensive appointment. I never agreed to giving a 50p charity donation, so it shouldn’t have been andded on without my consent - it’s very cheeky. And I didn’t realise doing some checks on my cat would incur additional charges.
