I can’t thank this vet practice enough for the incredible care they’ve given my dog. He suddenly started limping with no clear cause, and after being let down and badly misdiagnosed by my local vet, I searched online for an orthopaedic specialist and came across this relatively new practice. I’m so glad I did. From the very first appointment, the vet was exceptionally professional and thorough. They quickly identified the issue, and the X-rays confirmed it. Everything about the surgery, procedures, and costs was explained clearly and honestly, which immediately put me at ease. I don’t trust just anyone with my dogs, but here I felt completely reassured — they truly exceeded my expectations. What makes this practice stand out is the personalised care. I always see the same vet, not rotating agency staff like at many chain practices. You can tell they genuinely care, not just about the animal but also about giving owners confidence and peace of mind. Although I live quite a distance away, the travel is absolutely worth it for the level of service and reassurance I receive. We’re now 2.5 weeks post-surgery, and the improvement is already obvious — most importantly, my dog is himself again: a happy, bouncy Springer and finally free from pain. I’m incredibly grateful for their dedication, professionalism, and kindness. Highly recommended!

Manuel treats my little Ted with the utmost care and love, as do the rest of the team. They genuinely care about the animals they work on and it shows. Ted is a 12 year old rescue and has chronic ear issues. Manuel has done his utmost to keep him comfortable and get to the bottom of things. He operated today and the outcome was even better than expected, I’m so grateful. I was fully informed of each process and my concerns were listened to. I was even shown a video of the procedure after which all helped put my mind at rest. Would highly recommend Ace Vets to anyone!
