Alpha Veterinary Surgery, located in Teddington, Middlesex, is a reputable clinic with a strong focus on providing comprehensive veterinary care, including emergency services available around the clock. With an impressive Google Maps rating of 4.7 stars from 149 reviews, it is evident that the clinic is well-regarded by its clients. This high rating, bolstered by a significant number of reviews, suggests a reliable and consistent standard of care.
Customer feedback highlights the clinic's compassionate and professional approach. Long-term client Lynda Gale praises the consistent care provided over three decades, emphasizing the attention given to her new kittens. Similarly, Jamie Alexander Vargas shares a touching experience with the clinic's empathetic handling during a difficult time, reinforcing the team's dedication to compassionate care.
However, not all experiences have been positive. Steevie Gillett recounts a distressing incident involving a miscommunication and perceived lack of empathy from the reception staff during a challenging visit. This contrasts with other reviews but provides a balanced view of the clinic's performance.
Additional feedback from Daniela Tinkova and Jo Richards further emphasizes the clinic's prompt and efficient service. Tinkova appreciated the swift action taken for her dog Messi during a fully booked schedule, while Richards commended the care provided to her lizard, noting the rarity of finding skilled reptile veterinarians.
Overall, Alpha Veterinary Surgery stands out for its comprehensive services and a generally high level of client satisfaction, despite isolated incidents of dissatisfaction.

Cat was brought in for just an X-ray due to my practices machine not working they kept my poorly cat nearly all day and then after my practice told them to transfer the bill ax to them the rude receptionist blocked the door and wouldn’t let my sons out until they paid nearly £500… they were also told my cat had cancer or tv and wouldn’t let need to be put down… our very distressed cat wet herself due to the wait and not being let out of their reception! My surgery were very apologetic when my sons brought the cat back and they suggested to transfer her ax to a clinic in Marlow.. that night she was welcomed by them with love and compassion as were my so sons! NOT LIKE ALPHA…do not book your sick pet with this surgery and keep away from the rude and awful Receptionist! NEVER GO THERE!

We very sadly had to put our beautiful boy Ted, a very kind and loving bull mastiff down a few days ago due to cancer. I was incredibly humbled and indescribably grateful for the compassion, empathy, respect and love delivered by the team at Alpha. Trust these wonderful care givers; they go above and beyond and will never let you down. Thank you x

A big thank you to people in this centre for assisting our dog Messi. I cannot express how fast action of the lady in reception and Dr. Alice in their fully booked schedule was. Messi unfortunately ate a bone which we did not know if a fraction got stucked or he was just sick of what he ate. Seeing healthy dog becoming poorly is very stresfull. Centre is nice and clean, enviroment very friendly. i would highly recommend this centre for lovers of their animals. Thank u again from bottom of my heart. Messi is back to happy mood/picture attached:)

Darren and the team are lovely, friendly and happy to listen to all my concerns / anxiety. After texting with my concern on Friday I brought my lizard in the following Wednesday. We've had a thorough exam, x-ray, antibiotics and blood tests, and a good plan to get Ozzie better. Very happy, especially when reptile vets are hard to find!
