Absolutely incompetent. Months ago, I told them that I was moving to Finland and that I needed to get my dogs up-to-date and with all the jabs and relevant paperwork to allow them to travel. In advance I sent them my dog’s medical history so they had all the necessary information. They told me that I needed an appointment six days before my departure. When I showed up for the appointment, they told me that my dogs needed Rabies vaccines that had to be given 21 days before departure. On top of that, they told me that I also needed worming tablets that would be required five days before arrival in Finland - so that’s going to require another visit to this incompetent practice. Then they charged me £587 for their appalling service. One would’ve thought it would’ve been useful to know all this when I originally made the appointment months ago. In short, if you can’t trust this practice with basic admin I doubt you can trust them with your dogs well-being. Important Update Post Move to Finland - in early October: There is something that Jia Goh, the vet, could have told me that would have improved their ridiculous service and that is this: Even if my dogs left the UK without any of the vaccines and treatments the practice forgot to anticipate, plan for and tell me about, it's not the Europeans that have issues with those things it's only the Brits!!! So going to Finland via Holland etc would have been, and was, no issue whatsoever. This clever insight would have been so helpful. However, big thinking doesn't seem to be their forte. Update: Jan 8, 2026 The practice just wrote to me claiming that I had an outstanding bill with them without even specifying what it was for. What a shambles this place is. Since as usual I paid for everything they ever did before leaving the practice I can't think what this might be. Regardless, following up 4 months after my visit just doesn't reflect well on their approach to admin. And based on the experience I described above I'm really not that surprised. How you do anything is how you do everything. Keith Butt would think this outfit was a disgrace.

I can’t thank the team at Medivet Kensington enough for the care they gave my cat, Willow. My partner and I were very worried when we brought her in, and from the start everyone was kind, patient, and reassuring. It was clear that Willow’s welfare was genuinely their priority. I especially want to thank the Roshni who saw us during the out of hours appointment. She was incredibly kind and gentle with Willow. She answered all my questions and really helped be feel at ease as I was very anxious. It meant a lot to be treated with such compassion. Willow ended up needing to be admitted, but knowing she was being looked after by such a caring and professional team made a difficult situation easier to cope with. Every member of staff I spoke to were lovely. I’m so grateful to all the staff involved with willow’s care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares. Thank you again 🩷

I can’t thank this clinic enough for everything they’ve done for me and my dog, Lulu. From the very start, they’ve made both of our lives so much easier. Lulu is absolutely in love with her vet Emma, and it gives me such peace of mind knowing she’s always in the best hands. When Emma has been away, Jia has taken wonderful care of her too, and I’m so grateful for the consistency and kindness across the team. This is an excellent vet. I have been coming here for years with my golden retrievers, and all the vets have given my dogs brilliant care and treatment. I totally trust them, and they do not order tests if they are not needed. The level of veterinary knowledge is very high. The reception staff are also terrific - always friendly and helpful. The best vet in the area in my opinion.

I had to have an emergency appointment this morning as my dog Leelo got a grass seed stuck in her ear. The staff were so amazing. They honestly were so kind and helpful and managed to help her straight away. They made my very stressful morning so much better so thank you so much guys ❤️ they even went as far as to give me a discount which I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it 🥹 we took home a little souvenir too

Vanesa was really professional and treated our dog very gently. She examined her really patently and calmly. We came awfully worried and Vanesa calmed us down with her excellent job. I strongly recommend coming here if you have any worries about your dog.

I highly recommend Dr. Clarisse! During my first visit, I was impressed by the level of care and compassion she showed, especially as we faced a difficult decision regarding Buddy, our springer spaniel. Dr. Clarisse was knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we fully understood our options, allowing us to make the best choice for our pet without feeling rushed. Her empathy and patience made a challenging situation much easier to navigate. The support staff at the clinic is equally responsive and helpful, contributing to a lovely atmosphere. I also appreciate that they offer 24-hour coverage, and my follow-up questions were answered promptly. Dr. Clarisse even called me back personally, which shows her genuine care for her patients.
