Just recently joined this vet for my dog who isn’t well and he was seen super quickly! He’s normally very nervous at the vet, but honestly, it was probably one of the best visits to a vet we have had. Rebecca put my mind at ease and was so sweet and gentle with my dog. She gave him lots of treats and I feel really informed and reassured.

I want to say a huge thank you to the team at Petwell Vets in Hayes. My cat Lucy needed surgery and they looked after her with such care and professionalism. They kept me fully informed throughout, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood the process. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in safe hands. Lucy is now recovering at home by my side, and I’m so grateful to the vets and staff for the compassion they showed both to her and to me. I would highly recommend Petwell Vets to any pet owner who wants their animal to be treated with kindness, respect, and excellent medical care.

Ten out of ten for the wonderful Dr. Roman, Claire, and Julia who saw my dog Dixie in an emergency, even though Dixie is registered at another vet here in Suffolk. The sheer kindness, true professionalism and willingness with which Roman, Claire and Julia leapt into action to save Dixie's life was truly breath taking. We shall be forever grateful to Petwells. Their intervention saved Dixie in the nick of time. It was late and near closing time, and Dixie wasn't their patient but - by God, Roman and his crew pulled out all the stops and really went over and above the call of duty. Impeccable service. Wonderful people. True animal lovers. And with an outstanding ability to leap into action to save a dogs life. Today, Dixie is back to her normal self, and we are so grateful to Dr. Roman.

Petwell House Vet Hayes is a good vet who pay attention to detail when I bring my dog in. They do their best to keep us updated on all treatments needed but I sometimes feel they schedule vaccinations which may not actually be necessary or needed at the time. I must say, the process checking in at the reception could be better for example - actually acknowledging when I walk into the vet with my dog. It’s basic manners and skills a front desk receptionist should have. I have also had Something they can really work on is having a VISIBLE price list where all clients can see the price for each treatment or jab. That would be very helpful to avoid any discrepancies when being charged for a service. My dog had to have an emergency surgery for a broken claw and the whole process cost £350. Part of this cost was £27 to cut one claw which is absolutely ridiculous and another being £35 for a small bandage which came off before we even left the vet. I cannot comprehend that at all. This was back when David Mwangi was still the Veterinarian but hopefully things have changed. I’ve been charged £75 for a vaccination before and £50 for another so I believe this price list would really help! The new Veterinarian who you can see in the pictures is definitely the best! She is so lovely and my dog has warmed up to her the most! 🥰 let’s see how future days at Petwell House Vets will be!
