Village Vet Primrose Hill is part of the Village Vet group (joined in 2016) and is described on its website as mainly a consulting practice, with more surgical and diagnostic work handled through a larger sister branch. The clinic lists routine and preventive care (vaccinations, microchipping, parasite treatment, annual health checks) alongside ongoing-care areas like senior pet care, nutrition/obesity management, dental care and internal medicine. Out-of-hours emergencies are directed to a 24/7 Village Vet practice.
Recent reviews are mixed: some owners say they can “always get an appointment when needed” and that things are explained clearly, while others describe feeling pushed toward extra tests/treatments, report a high bill for a straightforward issue, or raise concerns about handling during procedures (including one account of a prolonged blood draw).

We weren't treated fairly nor well by this vet practice, they employ a variety of vets who are in our experience very cold hearted unprofessional and discourteous to boot. It's a shame.

Purely money makers. Cross sell, Upsell - same old same old salesman prescribing expensive solutions for non existent problems whilst ignoring the actual health and well-being of the puppy and dealing with the real issue at hand. Appreciate all the information about non existent teeth issues, skin swabs and on and on and on for a simple ear infection. They used to be more subtle; now about as nuanced as a head on bus collision. Summary - Thanks ChatGPT £195 in total is significantly higher than average for such a straightforward ear issue, especially given the norm for London vets remains closer to £60–70 for consults, with small additional fees for treatments. In the profession only for the money . Took nearly 45 mins to take a blood sample from my Dog at great distress to him. The Royal Veterinary College managed to to do this within 2 mins the following day!
