I actually stumbled upon Virtue Vets by accident. I have a long history of PTSD, and for years I was told that getting a support animal might help regulate my emotions and pull me out of my head. But I was terrified of being responsible for something alive. The fear of getting it wrong, of not being capable, was very real. I ended up adopting a high-maintenance dog with a lot of health issues. It was a big step. Not long after, my dog ate melted chocolate ice cream and I panicked that’s when I went to Virtue Vets and met Alison at the Marylebone clinic. From that first interaction, I felt supported. Alison was calm, patient, and kind. During that visit, I discovered their unlimited subscription service. I’ll be honest knowing I had access to unlimited consultations was a huge reason I committed fully to dog ownership. It created a safety net.. The unlimited access wasn’t just convenient it became a learning tool. I called when I was unsure. I went in when I was anxious. I asked questions constantly. Over time, that access gave me confidence. It taught me what was normal, what wasn’t, how to manage health issues properly, and when not to panic. That support structure allowed me to grow into being a capable dog owner. At times, the clinic has almost felt like a therapy service as much as a veterinary one and I mean that as a compliment. Alison has been incredibly patient, even when I’ve been anxious or over-explaining. I genuinely appreciate that level of care and humanity. The results speak for themselves. My dog has gone from 8 kilos down to 5.2 kilos and is now thriving healthy, energetic, and happy. They have looked after her exceptionally well. Preventative care has been excellent, and I’ve barely needed to think about insurance because issues are addressed early. I’ve also tried their physiotherapy service, which was fantastic, and I plan to use it more consistently going forward. One thing I’d love to see more of is community events dog training sessions, dog yoga in the park, educational workshops, owner meet-ups. They already have an amazing foundation, and adding that social element would make it even stronger. Overall, what I’ve gained from this service goes far beyond standard veterinary care. For someone with PTSD who was afraid of responsibility, Virtue Vets provided not just medical support, but the confidence and structure to change my life.

Just visited Alison who was our vet previously at Village Vets in Hampstead. I’m delighted I managed to find her again and registered now at Virtue Vests as Alison is one of the best vets who really cares and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Virtue Vets Marylebone 5 stars 🌟

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this veterinary clinic. The staff were inattentive, and my questions were answered formally and with irritation. The examination was very superficial, with no explanations or recommendations for further care of my pet. At the same time, the prices were unreasonably high for such a level of service. It felt like their main goal was to take the money rather than actually help the animal. I will not be returning and do not recommend this clinic to others.

Enzo and Richie was seen by Allison, the lead veterinarian and she was amazing! This clinic is so nice and spacious and offers you coffee and treats for the e dogs as soon as you enter. I can’t stress enough how supportive and helpful they were.

I can’t recommend Virtue Vets highly enough, and a huge part of that is thanks to Gia. After contacting more than 25 vets who either couldn’t or wouldn’t help with exporting my pet turtles from the UK to Europe, I was completely discouraged. From the very first moment, Gia was the exact opposite — supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to helping me. She guided me through every single step of the export process for my two turtles, Oogway and Victor, and kept me constantly updated at all stages. Communication was always clear, fast, and reassuring, which made a very stressful process feel manageable and organised. What stood out most was her consistency and care — I never once felt forgotten or left in the dark. Gia went above and beyond, and without her, this move simply would not have been possible. If you are looking for a team that truly cares and delivers on what they promise, Virtue Vets — and especially Gia — are exceptional. 🥰🐢
