Never saw my dog so happy to come to see the vet again!

Ive been taking my dog Leo to see Ozlem for the 13 years, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was incredibly detailed, clear in her explanations, and showed excellent handling skills — which is impressive because Leo can be quite difficult at times! Ozlem was extremely professional, patient, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she treats. I’m very grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the practice.

I would like to write a brief review of a recent visit to Cockfosters vet surgery. My dearest and very loved 8 year old Shih Tzu was diagnosed with an ulcerated cornea and I was incredibly nervous and anxious regarding the correct treatment (that a previous vet had advised ) and was not filled with confidence or a clear explanation of what the treatment involved from the previous vet I had been visiting. I visited Cockfosters vet surgery on the 3rd June 2025 and was immediately met by the kindest vet I could have imagined -her name was Rayyan and she instantly calmed my nerves and explained the exact procedure for the debridement of the cornea and supported me and my doggie fully. I have so much respect and appreciation from Rayyan’s love and kindest towards me and Leia (my Shih Tzu) even Leia seemed so much more at ease that I have even seen her when visiting other vet surgery. Rayyan is passionate , loving and incredibly empathetic towards owner’s fears and emotions and cannot thank her enough for the level of patience she had willingly repeating the procedure and medication to be given several times over as it was quite confusing (plasma, antibiotics and painkillers etc ) ! Rayyan has a calm and gentle approach that clearly dogs can sense and whilst putting my Leia at ease instantly puts me at ease ! I have found Leia’s vet for life and will continue coming to Rayyan at Cockfosters going forward ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Rayyan you are one in a million and would wholeheartedly refer my friends dogs to you without hesitation and the fullest of confidence! Marianne and Leia

A very professional and friendly vet who vaccinated our dog and gave him a check up. As I am needle phobic it was hard to go there but our dog didn't feel it. Well done.

Me and my mum are super happy with our experience at Cockfosters Veterinary Surgery. Our kitten Rosa was referred here for her spaying surgery instead of at our normal vet. When we arrived we were greeted with such kindness by the receptionist. Then we met Dr Rayyan Mohamed, who was going to be performing the surgery. She was absolutely brilliant. She was super kind, patient and caring. She handled Rosa with so much love and care. Rosa has always been nervous at our other vet, but here she was so calm and happy. Dr Rayyan Mohamed was very helpful when it came to answering any questions we had. We are first time cat owners and she reassured us that we were caring for Rosa properly, which made us feel great. Even at Rosa’s post-op checkup, she was so careful and informative. I would 100% recommend this vet to anybody. It is amazing. We will definitely be regulars here. Thank you so much to Dr Rayyan Mohamed, and the receptionists for amazing care towards us, we really appreciate it.

My 5 year old Rottweiler has always hated going to the vets. Usually muzzle goes on and she becomes paranoid and anxious. Going from a calm loving 1-100 crazy. This time we were very lucky to have a vet who helped massively. She gave us lots of time to settle and become relaxed at our appointment. She had great knowledge on how to support our dog without a big fight. Even though our dog was not happy with the needle, it was definitely less stressful for us all. A big big thank you to Rayyan Elidimuor. A lady with great understanding of big dogs and patience of a saint. Thank you to the lovely receptionist as well. Such a beautiful team. Very happy dog mum.
