Medivet Notting Hill Chepstow Corner is a veterinary clinic located in Chepstow Corner, London. With a Google Maps rating of 4 stars from 42 reviews, the clinic presents a mixed perception among its clientele.
Positive feedback highlights the friendly and knowledgeable staff, with several reviewers praising the care their pets received. For instance, Crawford Fulton King and G F both rated their experiences with 5 stars, citing a relaxed environment for their cats and commendable staff interaction. Similarly, EL - REEFI expressed gratitude for the support received from staff members Molly and Andrea, emphasizing the thorough care provided during a challenging health journey with their pet.
On the contrary, not all reviews reflect such positivity. Nicole Pingitore's 1-star review recounts a troubling experience regarding a surgical procedure on her dog, critiquing the clinic's aftercare and suggesting a lack of resources and experience among the staff. This situation was further compounded by inadequate follow-up and perceived indifference from management, impacting her overall trust in the clinic.
A 3-star review from CG V offers additional context, noting operational inconsistencies such as unanswered phones and the absence of staff during open hours, although standard check-ups were described as satisfactory.
Overall, while many clients report positive experiences, some negative accounts suggest areas for improvement, particularly in post-operative care and communication. The clinic does not prominently feature transparent pricing details on its website or in reviews, which could be beneficial for potential clients seeking veterinary services.

Vet and reception both really nice and friendly, most relaxed my cat has been in a vets

Very happy with the check up for my sensitive kitty cat today. New vet for me as previous one left but very happy, very knowledgeable, personable and my cat was comfortable with the check up. Thank you! Friendly front of house too. Highly recommend!

Changed to a different vet practice after a very negative experience with removing a lump. The wound was never stitched back properly, and no after care instructions were given post-operation, nor a cone was provided. Despite lots of back and forth, nothing was really done to apologise, despite the state of my dog's wound shortly after being operated (wide open, infected, inflamed - picture attached). We took him to a different vet for him to get a more positive experience, better care and post-operation follow up. Management sent several reports of what they said and when, as if we did not remember. Completely unhelpful. The staff at the practice are not bad people, but very inexperienced, without the right resources, and overwhelmed. Animals end up suffering because they are not looked after properly - this group only cares about the bottom line and has zero knowledge or passion for what they do and for animals in general!

Everyone at the chepstow have been absolutely wonderful and caring especially Molly who has gone above and beyond supporting me professionally during my journey when my cat was diagnosed with serious health issue. Many thanks to Andrea who also helped the process in referring my cat to a specialist centre and now currently under the fantastic care of Vivek. All the staff at this branch are beautiful souls.

Medivet “always there”. Unfortunately this practice is not always there - despite the practice being open, no one is in the clinic. Phones aren’t answered. Routine check ups when they are actually there are fine, less pragmatic of some of the practices I’ve been to but fine if nothing major is needed.
